Through the window

Looking out my window, I see nothing but the black and peace of night. Living out in the country brings so much calmness – I’m used to the constant buzz of the city, and out here I could be the last person alive. The country comes with isolation, which can be both a blessing and a curse. It teaches you to be comfortable alone and gives you more time to reflect.

Soon, there’ll be a hint of sun on the horizon and the birds and animals will begin a new day. As for now, I’ll look out my window and wait for the coffee to finish.
