digitalis nightmare

If you are digital you are real.

You behold a face that can’t feel

Or talk. Frozen like a mask of old.

Dreams are true and secrets are sold

Screens rule our plastic age; They tell,

Teach, romanticize and repel.

Your binging id holds a blindfold

Dreams are true and secrets are sold

It’s a digitalis nightmare

Love ruined by online affair

Warm flesh forsaken for something cold

Dreams are true and secrets are sold

Intro to Poetry – Day Six: Screen
